The successful candidate will have: · A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Sybase/Oracle/MSSQL Database Administrator in a multi-node UNIX and Windows environment with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot database and system problems. · Working knowledge of SYBASE ASE15 systems and administration practices, including Replication Server15 and Sybase IQ15 · Working knowledge of Oracle11g database systems and administration practices including RMAN and partitioning and Data Vault. · Working knowledge of Microsoft’s SQL Server2008R2 and SQL2012, including replication and mirroring. · Ability to program in Korn Shell, PERL, and SQL languages is required · Knowledge of Autosys and Opswise workload automation software will be an advantage. · Should be familiar with Solaris, Linux, Notes, Microsoft and CA Technologies products · Excellent oral and written presentation skills, to define and present system requirements and analysis. · Knowledge of financial business environments will increase the incumbent’s potential for success. · Ability to work in a team environment and work closely with co-workers on mission critical projects. *Education* Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study relevant to the position Notes: This is a mixed DBA environment: Sybase 75%, Oracle 15%, MS SQL Server 10% • Oracle, rev 10.G/11.G • SQL Server, 2012/2008 • 4 year college/university degree is a must.
