*Role: QA AnalystLocation: Norwood, MADuration: 12 months* *Rate: $35/hr on C2C* *WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A SENIOR RESOURCE, MORE JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL. MUST BE ABLE TO DO PHONE CALLS AT NIGHT WITH OUR PHILIPPINES OFFICE.* Ideal candidate has 2-5 years of QA experience. Including working with developers on determining testing requirements and resolving issues....communication skills very important. The ability to Translate Requirements to testing scenarios is also needed. Flex hours are a possibility also as this person would need to be able to work some nights (from home), interacting with our QA team in the Philippines...mainly on conference calls. The Philippines team develops and runs test scripts and communicate results back to the development teams here. The person here would be involved in answering questions from the development teams regarding testing results. Willing to work a shift that includes 1-2 hours per night on the phone with the Philippines. Overall 8 hour a day job. Be in Norwood during a significant part of the US business day to interface with development teams. Then talking with the Philippines team after hours (e.g. 8:30-10:30PM Eastern time). Not 2 hours every night but probably some contact every night ( Sunday through Thursday). *Requirements/Technical Skills* 2-4 Years QA experience, especially with web based systems. Wants to be a QA person, not using this as a way to move into a development role Ability to write and understand test scripts Good communication skills – Will be interfacing between developers and the QA team manager in the Philippines Self-starter able to work independently.
