The enterprise DW-BI team builds and maintains custom BI solutions, manages and enhances the data warehouse, performs data migrations, provides data integration services, and provides additional custom application development services related to information management. The BI Analyst will perform and lead many functional roles, such as requirements gathering, QA, data analysis, conceptual design of BI solutions, and creating and editing functional and technical documentation. The analyst must be flexible, able to adapt and perform various roles, able to support multiple projects and initiatives concurrently, and work effectively in an agile environment. In addition to typical business analyst skills, the BI analyst must be comfortable working with logical data models, able to analyze data and write sql queries, and a deep understanding of business intelligence concepts. Experience as a reports/BI developer is a plus. Roles and Duties: Conduct facilitated workshops for requirement elicitation and analysis and conceptual design of BI solutions. Develop business and functional requirements. Create test scripts and perform testing and quality assurance of BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, general application functionality, and occasionally data integration processes. Implement and manage formal testing processes. Create and maintain business and technical documentation. Provide coordination for BI projects and initiatives. Manage, and assist with, stakeholder communication. Analyze source data using data models and by querying source databases. Overall relevant experience as a business and/or functional analyst. Required 10 Years Experience as an analyst for Business Intelligence (BI) projects. Required 2 Years Experience in software quality assurance and testing. Required 5 Years Experience writing professional quality business and technical documentation. Required 5 Years Experience querying databases with SQL to validate, analyze, and profile data. Required 2 Years Ability to read, understand, and verify data models. Required BI Development Experience (Reports, dashboards, etc). Desired 2 Years SAP BI (Business Objects, Crystal Reports) experience as analyst or developer.
