*NetApp SAN/NAS Storage Engineer* needed for a position in Raleigh, NC that beings with a 6 month contract and then may be extended or converted to become a permanent full-time position. 6 Months CTH *Cary, NC.* Will work on NetApp Filers, Cluster Mode (C-Mode, CMODE, Cdot), 7 mode transisiton tool (7-MTT, 7 MTT, 7-mode), Cisco Fiber Channel (Fibre Channel, Cisco FC), and need basic networking (such as routing, VLAN, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI). *REQUIRED SKILLS:* - NetApp Filers - NetApp Cluster Mode (C-Mode, CMODE, Cdot) - NetApp 7 mode transition tool (7-MTT, 7 MTT, 7-mode) - Cisco Fiber Channel (Fibre Channel, Cisco FC) - basic networking knowledge (such as routing, VLAN, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI). - Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed to perform storage migrations This role is with an IT Infrastructure as a Services (IaaS) CLOUD services company on a team of 6 NAS SAN Storage Engineers that support a wide range of NetApp and EMC storage systems for a large number of cloud customers. The main work that will be performed will initially be migrating storage systems from NetApp 7-MTT to NetApp C-Mode. You will need to be able to work nights and weekends when needed to perform these migrations. When the migrations are completed, this role will be part of a 24x7 on call pager rotation between 6 engineers.
