Role: SAP FICO Technical/Functional Consultant
Location: York, PA
Duration: 2 year

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interact with the business to gather requirements, prioritize work,
develop enhancements to the existing system, coordinate testing, and
perform change management/training for SAP Finance applications
• Support and troubleshoot production systems as required and resolving
production problems within SAP Finance.
• Configuration of SAP FI and CO modules in IMG based on business
requirements
• Assist in the testing process to discover errors and issues in system
changes or settings
• Provide application support services (break / fix and development
requests) to end users
• Cooperate with team members from SAP Logistics modules and provide SAP
Finance integration knowledge and expertise.
• Assist in the performance of system modifications, performance tuning,
problem solving, debugging, and unit testing.
• Prepare project related documentation (functional design, technical
design, test scripts) during the different stages of a project
• Adhere to best practices and standards to maintain stable SAP environment
• Builds professional relationships with clients, management and team
members to ensure delivery of proposed solutions, supports for development
of business possibilities and for personal development
• Contributes to high productivity and motivation of working team with the
use of your communication skills and cooperation; reaches and realizes
project aims and outputs
• Additional responsibilities per management
• Complies with all local, state, federal, and CAI and customer
regulations, policies, and procedures
• Leading workshops to determine and finalize configuration in the areas of
GL, House Banks, Electronic Bank Statements, Financial Statement versions,
intercompany reconciliations, MM and HR Account determinations.
• Develop functional specifications for technical objects including
interfaces that post financial GL Document, Forms or Sap script for bank
checks, conversions including GL Master data and GL Balance conversions.

QUALIFICATIONS
• BA / BS Degree (Major: business administration, finance, accounting,
engineering, mathematics, management information systems, or a related
field / concentration)
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in SAP Finance (FI / CO)
modules / areas, to include:
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable and Cash Management
• Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CCA, PCA)
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Internal Orders
• Asset Management
• Experienced, higher-than-average knowledge of Financial business
processes and how they are supported by SAP
• Must possess deep analytical skills and superior business acumen.  Must
be able to offer constructive feedback to the business and other areas
within the SAP Team
• Exceptional communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the
ability to communicate effectively.  Must have command of English as a
first or second language; sufficient for telephone team communications,
consulting, email, training, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Able to demonstrate
quick learning on the job.   An active team player with a keen and open
mind to acquire new functional and process knowledge
• Strong SAP experience or tenure in the same business function for the
required time-frame.
• Strong knowledge and direct experience of the following concepts:
• GL accounts, House Banks, Electronic Bank Statements, Financial Statement
versions, intercompany reconciliations, MM and HR Account determinations.
• GL Document financial postings, Forms or Sap script for bank checks,
conversions including GL Master data and GL Balance conversions.
• Prior experience Designing, prototyping, and configuring SAP FI, CO or FM
• Previous team lead experience within an SAP implementation or support
engagement is required.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with a solid understanding of SAP
development practices
• Excellent time management skills with leadership potential. Ability to
create plans and timelines and execute the plan successfully to complete
assigned work with team members.
• Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage multiple and frequently
changing priorities
• High degree of accuracy with attention to detail and ability to meet
strict deadlines
