*NEED LOCAL TO VA, MD OR DC* *F2F INTERVIEW REQUIRED* Technical Project Qualifications: · AWS Architecture Certification or relevant experience. · Project Manager will be expected to Lead Client in delivering the following Technical Project Deliverables: Create Network Architecture Convert physical core Firewalls into AWS NACL/Security Groups based security model, including automation that complies with ISO 270001 certification. · Review VPC intercommunication strategy (VPC peering vs hairpin) and provide an alternative solution if corrections are needed. · Provide best practices for routing traffic through AWS between datacenters. · Provide Direct Connect automation for VPC creation/destruction. · Provide a solution for network monitoring and management of datacenter networking components. · Provide recommendation for network auditing tools for AWS networking components. · Provide an automated DNS conversion into AWS by leveraging Route 53. · Provide training and documentation. · VMWare instances conversion over to EC2 instances – provide the development and implementation of solutions to convert companies DR VMware server environment in a consistent and repeatable fashion · Provide a technical repeatable solution for conversion VMWare instances to AWS EC2 instances: Use in initial conversion to populate companies DR AWS environment in an automated process. · Utilize automated process to maintain the synchronization between "on prem” VMware and AWS EC2 instances (patching, configuration updates, etc.) · Provide training and documentation DR Failover and failback · Provide solutions designs, implementation actions and testing scenarios to startup, failover within the 6 hour RTO: Automate startup/shutdown of 760 - 900 EC2 instances Automate startup/shutdown of applications Automate startup/shutdown EC2 database instances · Provide training and documentation Database Review and provide technical recommendations on the Oracle solution (Dataguard and HSM (key management) configuration and coordination between company "on prem” Exadata appliance and AWS EBS implementations and provide an alternative solution if corrections are needed.
