Job: Linux Administrator Location: Redmond, WA (only local’s plz) Duration: 4 Months *Description:* This is a short term (3-4month) contract position that will focus on porting and developing test code on the Linux platform. The vendor will also be responsible for development, testing and debugging code, utilizing test code to produce performance data on Linux and documenting their results. An ideal candidate will have a strong background developing on Linux in C or C++ (preferred), a strong understanding of POSIX threads, Linux networking APIs and Linux-specific AIO (asynchronous IO) models (i.e. epoll, select, poll). The vendor would also be executing and validating benchmark runs on both Linux and Windows.
