*Title: Senior Quality Engineer * *Location: **Indianapolis, IN. * *Duration: 6 months* * ( Need local consultant )* *Need GC or Citizen Consultant for face to face requirement* *Senior Quality Engineer:* The Senior Quality Engineer will help plan and execute automated unit/functional/integration testing with Agile Scrum teams for our new Facets application supporting our Individual Insurance segment within United Healthcare. You will help design, develop and maintain a robust automation framework using Java, J unit, Cucumber, Geb, Spock, Groovy etc and integrate with our continuous integration/delivery process to support our DevOps agenda. * Primary Responsibilities: *• Partner with Developers, System Analysts, Business Analysts, Delivery Owners, Product Owners and Business SME’s to develop a robust Systems Integration test plan in an DevOps agile development environment • Write and execute ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) using Cucumber-jvm or .net SpecFlow • Responsible for developing test cases, test strategy, test scenarios, coordinating test data setup, environment readiness, test execution and issue/defects resolution • Responsible to System/Integration test web services, REST API’s, user interface, Database, reporting, ETL/Batch application components • Perform complex testing with EDI /JSON/XML API transactions • Explore new software, tools and capabilities to automate System integration testing to supports continuous delivery/DevOps agenda • Participate and provide input in system analysis, design walkthroughs and code reviews • Come up with innovative ideas/suggestions to resolve complex systems integration issues/software issues/defects • Present test results to the project teams • Comply with standards of the software development life cycle, DevOps and continuous delivery process • Meet all defined target test goals and milestone dates for the project in order to ensure its overall success * Required Qualifications:* • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience • 4+ years of Quality Engineering testing experience in an application environment; testing user interfaces, backend database, web services, API’s, and Batch/ETL application components • 3+ years scripting/coding experience in any of the following Java automation testing tools: Spock, Groovy, Selenium, Gatling, J unit, Geb, Cucumber or other similar tools which use object oriented programs • 2+ years of experience writing Functional/Integration test plans and test cases for complex software application • 2+ years of writing and executing Acceptance Testing Driven Development • 2+ years of hands-on testing experience in a Continuous Integration/Delivery/DevOps environment supporting frequent deployments • 2+ years of hands-on testing experience working with complex XML, MQ interface, EDI and SQL transactions • 1+ years of hands-on experience working with writing DB SQL scripts • Experience automating build processes, application deployments and continuous integration systems with tools like Jenkins • Exposure to incremental agile software development methodologies • Prior experience in working closely with Developers and Architects in solving software defects • Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills; the ability to debug and resolve difficult technical problems. *Preferred Qualifications:* • Prior Java/.Net/C# programming experience • Proficient with developer tools, such as Eclipse, Git/Github, or Spring for developing on the Java stack • Prior Performance testing experience • Health care experience *Thanks and Regards* *Manish Srivastava* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *IDC Technologies, Inc.* *408-844-3778* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
