The incumbent will collaborate with cross project teams of engineers, test engineers and product stakeholders within an Agile environment. Skills: Practical knowledge of Source Control Management, specifically branching, tagging and merging of different code streams in particular Git. Language proficiency in JavaScript using Object-Oriented and Functional design. Good knowledge of design patterns, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), the drive to succeed and work independently and on a team, and the ability to multi task and deliver quality results . Desirable qualifications include knowledge of web application development and Atlassion suite of tools, Bamboo, Confluence and JIRA Keywords: Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other job-related discipline plus a minimum of 5 years of enterprise .Net experience with some at the senior or lead level. Experience with, and knowledge of, software development in an Agile environment utilising best in class software development process and tools, along with exposure to software release management techniques. Experience with WebApi. Experience of relational databases, preferably SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL. Experience with Cloud hosting, preferably Amazon Web Services. Software build and continuous integration experience, preferably Atlassian tool suite. Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodology Desirable qualifications include exposure to the educational software environment and familiarity with industry standards and specifications.
