Red Hat Satellite & Puppet – deep knowledge of cookbook design & management. Other modern configuration management systems such as Ansible (recently purchased by RedHat) or Chef in an enterprise environment is beneficial Understanding of both commercial and open source landscape of Linux management tools Source control systems such as git, mercurial, & integration with configuration management systems Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration environments for infrastructure. Package management and distribution systems Discovery and imaging systems such as Cobbler, Razor, Packer etc. Automation of provisioning VM and cloud environments such as VMWare, OpenStack, AWS, Azure. Orchestration and Service Discovery systems such as Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm Containerized Linux Applications using Docker, LXC, CoreOS etc. Service discovery systems such as Consul, Zookeeper Strong knowledge of Linux security, especially related to access control, administrative privilege design and controls.
