Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Albany, NY Duration: 12 Months 3 references Need a seasoned candidate Scope of Work: This position requires a strong background in Network routing and switching with verifiable skills working with VLANs, IP addressing and subnetting, OSPF, BGP, L3 MPLS VPN’s, VRF/VRF lite and wireless networking technologies; The candidate must have network design experience in both LAN and WAN disciplines; Applicants will need verifiable prior Cisco experience (IOS, IOS XR); a current Cisco certification is a plus; Experience with multiple brands of firewalls will be an asset; ITS supports Juniper, Cisco, and other firewall devices; Applicants need to be experienced in creating network documentation. The primary product in use is MS Visio; Experience with the IT Service Management (ITSM) application is a plus; The job may require some work be performed outside of normal business hours.
