Note : We are not looking for Casandra DBA/ Hadoop resources.
Job Description:
Min 9 – 15 years’ experience in designing, developing, deploying
software application
1. 9 + years of experience in large scale system development,
deployment, and management
2. B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and
experience
3. Good communication skills (verbal and written)
4. 2+ years of AWS Cloud Experience including deployment,
cloudformation, cloudwatch, and autoscaling
5. 5+ years of experience in Java coding and Rest application development
6. Experience in support/troubleshooting/operations of Cassandra and
other NoSQL database. Setting, Modeling and optimization of Cassandra
clusters is a must.
7. Experience in Data Migration of multiple terabytes from one Cassandra
DC to another
8. Must possess advanced SQL skills and in depth knowledge of analytical
functions
9. Strong Linux/Unix background and Advanced scripting knowledge e.g
python, ruby etc
10. Experience with metrics, monitoring and alerting tools such as
Graphite, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk
11. Experience with CI/CD process and technologies (e.g. Jenkins,
TravisCI, or equivalent)
12. Familiarity with OSGi containers is nice to have
13. Must be familiar with Java 8
14. Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven, JUnit, Mockito,
15. Must have Experience installing and managing Kafka
