Title: Storage Architect Location: New York; Nashville, TN; or Pittsburgh, PA Duration: FT/CTH No of Positions: 1 Rate: $DOE Description: Must have 6-9 years of IT experience with Storage Architect with mainly used EMC The IT Transformation Data Optimization track is seeking an analyst and a project lead / project manager to help with the following tasks within the IT Data Optimization tracks. 1. Initially this candidate will take over the responsibilities of creating the Storage Reports (Heat Maps) and Metrics manually until the SRA Team is developed and operationalized. 2. This candidate will also be the storage representative in the Application Architecture Review process, where he/she will present storage tiering opportunities and help in developing the recommendations. 3. This candidate will be the liaison between the Application Architecture Review Team and the Storage teams to ascertain the feasibility of the re-tiering recommendation coming out of the Application Architecture Review Team. 4. This candidate will also lead and manage the execution work that would take place once the tiering recommendations are approved. The right candidate . Must have 3-5 years project management experience in storage migrations . Must have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in storage and server infrastructure . Must have good infrastructure and financial analytical experience, to create storage and financial reports in spreadsheet / powerpoint formats. . Must be able to document processes, project status, and other type of templates . Must have a good understanding of industry standards and best practices for configuration of the storage infrastructure .
