Java/C Developer with Tcl/Tk and Linux Location: Marina Del Rey, CA Duration: 6 months+ contract Rate: Market *Qualifications/Required Experience: * · The ideal candidate will possess 5 or more years work experience and knowledge of applying SEI’s CMM to software engineering · Candidate would also be proficient in C, Java, Tcl/Tk, SQL, Netbeans, XML · Strong experience programming within Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS) as well as using relevant tools such as “vi”, gcc, etc is a must · Experience with Oracle database, queries and systems integrating with Oracle applications *Desired Experience: * · The ideal candidate will also possess experience with transit agencies or freight companies, train control or SCADA systems, as well as at least 5 years work experience in all phases of software lifecycle. · Mission critical and 24/7 availability system development and support is also a plus *Educational Requirements: * · BS degree in Computer Science or other technical area is preferred.
