*IBM DataStage Senior Developer/Technical Lead*
• A DataStage Senior Developer to design, develop, implement, maintain and
support applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will have 5-7
years of data warehouse project experience and has good understanding of
ETL tools, possesses knowledge of relational database engines, reporting
and analytical tools.
• Experience designing, coding and testing complex mappings in DataStage.
• Good UNIX shell scripting is required
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational data bases. i.e DB2 and Oracle.
• The candidate needs to identify the elements and do mapping, map from
source and get into the warehouse and into the database.
• Strong experience and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Must be competent in the development of complex jobs that require not
only the use of standard stages, but also, custom-built additions &
routines .
• This person will be the "Go to" person for all ETL mappings and
performance tuning issues related to DataStage ETL mappings.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving
environment.
• Designing and developing exception handling and data
cleansing/standardization procedures.
• Integration with Teradata will be PLUS
• Must have Very good communication Skills
