Job Title: SharePoint Architect Location: New York City, NY Duration: 6+ months //////// Need US Citizen OR Green Card Only //////// Job Description: An effective Manager of the SharePoint Solution Architect team will have 7+ years experience as a Solution Architect in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of a Enterprise SharePoint Service. In addition, the candidate should have experience with SharePoint Technologies such as Performance Point, Excel Services, InfoPath, Search, and Web Services at an enterprise level. Required Skills: Must possess an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Platform. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: - Oversee the Enterprise SharePoint Architect Team. - Provide leadership and direction as it relates to design and implementation of SharePoint Service - Assist or lead in the definition of systems solutions to functional problems, conforming to established system architecture standards and practices - Produce documented application processes, frameworks or architectures. - Conform to system architecture standards and practices and work with outsourced suppliers as required to keep up to date with enabling technologies - Prioritize projects, team workload and tasks. - Supervise and manage the overall performance of staff and contractors - Interface directly with various IT functional areas as it pertains to the support of SharePoint. - Lead Enterprise SharePoint Service - Make recommendations for process improvements. - Anticipate issues and recommend solutions. Required Skills: Knowledge must include architectural design, web parts development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations. In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and Business Intelligence. SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Designer and Nintex workflows, effective use of the data view web part (DVWP), content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization. Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript) is required as well as VS.NET Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization) is required.
