*Job Title : Lead Software Quality Engineer*
*Location : Deerfield, IL*
*Duration : 6+ Months Contract*

Needs to be a true Lead leading Onshore/Offshore testers in the past from a
Pharmaceutical environment.  Will hire off of the phone.
Participation and/or completion in Testing certification programs (Six
Sigma, CQSA (Certified Software Quality Analyst), CSTE (Certified Software
Tester) or CSTP (Certified Software Test Professional)).

*Objectives: *
This position participates in the delivery of system solutions by
documenting validation activities and ensuring they are conducted in a cost
effective and compliant manner.
This role executes testing strategies, deliverables, methodologies, and
processes to assess all stages of the software development lifecycle. He or
she defines and executes testing of software, data, hardware or process
prior to release into a live environment.
This position manages relationships with key customers and collaborates
with other groups to ensure the total solution delivered to the customer
meets/exceeds expectations.

*Accountabilities: *
Develop and implement end-to-end testing process for each component/phase
of systems development life cycle, including project requirements, design,
and programs. Deliver against agreed test plan, within budget and
timeframes.
Deliver IT projects and supports applications within area of
responsibility, ensuring compliance with all company and departmental
policies, procedures and standards.
Analyze and document business requirements for multiple business areas.
Analyze test results and measure Key Performance Indicators against defined
quality criteria.
Insure all Test Deliverables are completed, including Test Approach,
Scenarios, Conditions and Expected Results, Test Cycle Control Sheet, and
Test Scripts.
Identify issues, lead resolution efforts, and escalate issues appropriately.
Actively share emerging industry standards/trends with customers and peers
within area of responsibility.
Support the response and remediation of corrective actions and internal
audits.
Manage business and customer relationships. Cultivate and maintain contact
with key customers; work closely with vendors to complete required tasks.
Proactively identify and assist in prioritizing opportunities to streamline
business and/or system processes. Establish metrics related to quality
within IT to help identify issues and facilitate continuous improvement.

*Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: *
Minimum 4 years of IT experience with Bachelors Degree, 8 years IT
experience without Bachelors Degree.
Minimum 3 - 4 years experience in Testing roles (and/or leading testing
teams) on software. development or IT-related projects.
Participation and/or completion in Testing certification programs (Six
Sigma, CQSA (Certified Software Quality Analyst), CSTE (Certified Software
Tester) or CSTP (Certified Software Test Professional)).
Technology knowledge and expertise.
Customer and service orientation to support interaction with team resources
and clients.
Performance and productivity oriented to drive quality testing outcomes and
results within DB Testing practice.
Previous program and project management experience.
Proven experience with IT Risk Management and Control policies and
procedures.
Previous experience working effectively in globally diverse teams and
matrixed organizations.
Demonstrated ability to cooperate with a variety of people and achieve
results.

*Travel Requirements: *
Willingness to travel to various meetings or client sites, including
overnight trips. Some international travel may be required.
