Collaborate with business units to identify and gather business requirements for data and reporting requests. Prepare and review functional reporting specifications for reporting solutions based on incident tickets, user enhancement requests and functional requirements. Ensure that reporting requirements, functional specifications and test scripts follow a structured development life cycle and meets all quality and reporting standards. Assist in the development of Global Oracle Business Intelligence reports, Business Intelligence dashboards and ad-hoc (Answers) reports. Interact with the Technical Business Intelligence team on continuous improvement opportunities to optimize data management and delivery. Improve and streamline existing processes regarding data flow, performance, security and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value. Partner with the business units to prioritize enhancement requests for new and existing Global Business Intelligence queries, dashboards and reports. Ability to coordinate and facilitate Oracle Business Intelligence training, report standardization, terminology and guidelines to end users; with helpful tips and techniques (best-practices) for writing effective queries. Work on language issues, currency support and other global issues. Provide business support for our Global Excel applications.
