*6 - 12 Months* *Menlo Park, CA* Looking for a consultant with proven experience working in a fast paced, high volume e-commerce environment. The right candidate will have knowledge of *Linux-based *services such as *DNS, DHCP, NFS, Samba, LDAP, etc*. Also, must have experience with *TCP/IP* and related protocols, as well as experience with networking equipment such as *Cisco switches/firewalls*. Candidate must also have extensive experience supporting *Windows, Linux, and Mac OS users.* Experience with *Apache Tomcat*, as well as *Virtualization (VMware ESX, Virtual Box)* is needed. Knowledge of a *continuous integration tool (Hudson)* is also needed. Also, experience with build tools such as *Ant, and Maven*, and also a source code control system, preferably *Subversion*, is a big plus. Duties performed on a daily basis include working with other engineers and the QA team to make sure software releases go through the various pre-production environments. Also, working with QA to trigger automated testing and operations to move software out of development and into staging.
