Responsibility --
. Manage day to day activities and business processes ensuring
proactive support
. Understand the existing system by working with developers & prepare
an inventory list for all the components which are getting migrated
. Provide proactive suggestions/solutions to architect team on the
fitment of existing components in new system
. Effective collaboration with infrastructure teams, application
development teams, testing and release teams
. Organizes and document process changes and RICE object changes
. Establishing best practice processes and procedures within own work
area
. Analyze existing systems/tools and procedures, and when applicable
leverage or integrate into the new database
. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, functional design,
development review, unit/ system/ integration testing, post
production support, user training, etc
*Project Description -- SJPROD Migration *
As part of Client's major LSS initiative SJPROD database is getting
retired in SJ & all of its components needs to moved & accommodated in
respective databases.
Work experience & skills (Mandatory)
Essential (including minimum exp. required for each skills)
. Minimum 7-8 years prior Information Technology experience required
- Should be able to perform as a lead analyst/developer and
interact with other developers and work with Clients.
. *Should have good hands on BPEL process design & debugging (A MUST HAVE)*
. Should be able to supervise application design and architecture
components & functional design activities, application build, test, and
deploy activities
. Ability to lead and collaborate with internal / offshore teams and
projects.
. Skilled in performing business requirements gathering (to be model
- as is model)
. Hands on experience in Oracle 11i and BPEL
. Strong PL/ SQL and TOAD experience
. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
. Experience of migration project would be an added advantage
. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*. *Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
. Self learner
. Experience in modeling / configuration tools like Selectica, IBM
Sterling, Big machines is a plus.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing business processes
Essential
7-8 years of experience in Information technology
