If any one have suitable candidate for below position please respond to prak...@ksntech.com or 219-561-7134 * * *Title:* Sr. Oracle/SQL DBA *Location:* Irving, TX *Duration:* 6 months *Rate:* $50/hr on C2C *MUST HAVE MIN 7+ YRS EXP* * * *Job Description * • Administrate and monitor non production *MS SQL* *and Oracle 11g servers*; apply required patches; Develop and implement data archive, purge and masking procedures; build database kits, deploy in non-production and promote to production after certification; Attend production outage calls and provide necessary fixes. • Develop, implement, and monitor replication strategies among *MSSQL 2008 servers*; setup and monitor clustering using *RAC for Oracle 11g servers*. • Develop tested code to modify existing architecture and make necessary changes to the system interfaces; and provide Object and Source Code to the company, in accordance with the company's standards utilizing the source and Object Code libraries and Configuration Management procedures. • Confirm to existing coding standards by eliminating hard coded routines and replace with dynamic data driven solutions. • Provide code review, and provide documentation in support thereof • Create and provide documents in support of this deliverable to include updated versions of design, process flow diagram, *API* specification, and error description Required Skills • *Should have hands on experience in administrating Oracle 11g and MSSQL2008 database servers. * • *Should have 3-5 Years of experience in installation, up-grade, backup and recovery, and monitoring Oracle 11g servers*. Experience in setting up and managing clustering with RAC; setting up and monitoring replication. • *Should have 5-7 Years of experience in SQL SERVER 2005 and 2008 Database Administration including server installations, up gradation, Backup recovery strategies*. • Minimum 5-7 years of Replication Technology experience including design, development and implementation and Support on various environments • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in developing and deploying *SSIS, SSRS and SSAS Packages/services* to transfer data between *Oracle and MSSQL*. • Should be strong in problem analysis, problem solving and decision-making. • Should have strong verbal and written communication skills and coordination skills. • Must be a team player. • Should be expert in trouble shooting and fixing the *MSSQL and Oracle server issues.* • Should have Master's Degree in Computer science with certification in Database Administration is added advantage.
