Title: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 13+ Months

 

Required Skills for the candidate: 7 years + SAP ABAP

The SAP ABAP Developer/Engineer will play a key role in the execution and
delivery of solutions to support HP's IT team 

This individual will collaborate with IT and business associates in
application design, development, integration, testing and deployment of SAP
ABAP solutions. 

Additional knowledge of SAP SD, FI and MM preferred. 

Prior SAP experience in R/3 4.6 or above; 

Prior SAP experience in ECC6 is highly desired.

The SAP ABAP Developer/Engineer responsibilities include (but are not
limited to):

.             Develop SAP solutions to support HP's global business
function's needs and HP IT performance, security, quality and integration
requirements.

.             Lead and/or participate in design workshops & design reviews,
representing the associated Business Function.

.             Perform and document the results of "Fit Gap" analysis; Work
collaboratively with IT and business partners to define functional, mapping
and technical solutions; proactively provide knowledge and expertise on best
IT and business practices.

.             Review all deliverables throughout the project lifecycle to
ensure completeness, consistency, quality and requirement traceability.
Positively represent your designs in architectural reviews.

.             Proactively identify, analyze and mitigate project and
operational risks (resourcing, project/task dependencies and delivery risks)

.             Documents all aspects of the system (e.g. process design, User
Requirements Specifications, Functional System Requirements and Developments
Specifications, test plans, integration efforts, etc.

.             Execute all unit, integration and regression testing per
project schedules

.             Support data migration and cutover plans in support of project
schedules

.             Serve as deep support analyst for issues that our support
staff is not able to independently resolve.

.             Leads the due diligence and/or sizing phase of management
queries and/or new initiatives.

.             In the spirit of continuous improvement, proactively recommend
enhancements to existing business and/or IT processes.

.             Interfaces with IT Solution Managers, IT Analysts, Release
Managers, Testing Manager, Version Control Manager, Testers, Application
DBAs, Global Support, Support DBAs, Enterprise Application Architect, and
Environment Analyst.

 

 

 

Title: SAP BW Developer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 13+ Months

 

SAP BW Design and Configuration Lead 

 

Required Skills for the candidate: 7 years + SAP BW

The SAP BW Developer/Engineer will play a key role in the execution and
delivery of solutions to support HP's IT team 

This individual will collaborate with IT and business associates in
application design, development, integration, testing and deployment of SAP
BW solutions. 

Knowledge and Skills Required:  

Strong experience in BW in a developer role, within a significant size
environment (>5Tb, multi portfolios). 

Strong functional experience (either in FI, SD, MM, CATS or PS) and BW
Portal Experience. 

Positive and aggressive attitude. High tolerance for fast pace, change and
ambiguity. Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills
and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
Demonstrated technical leadership skills. Strong organization and
facilitation skills. 

Proven ability to work well with geographically diverse and international
teams spanning US, Europe, India and China  

Expertise on Enterprise Architecture for Data Warehousing and deep technical
knowledge. 

Functional and technical knowledge (Hands On) of SAP BW on a
multi-portfolios platform (SAP BI 7.0). 

Hands on ABAP knowledge 

Other BI (BOBJ, Cognos, OBIEE, SAS) tools knowledge is a plus. 

SAP BI 7.3 knowledge is a plus.  

 

 

 

Title: SAP SD Functional Configurator

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Module  SD 

Required Skills for the candidate: 7 years + SAP SD

The SAP SD Functional Configurator will play a key role in the execution and
delivery of solutions to support HP IT's team goal to achieve a world class
systems portfolio that meets the varied HP global business needs. 

This individual will collaborate with IT and business associates in
application design, development, integration, testing and deployment of SAP
SD solutions.

Additional knowledge of SAP MM or FI preferred.

Additional knowledge of SAP ABAP preferred.

Prior SAP configuration experience in R/3 4.6 or above; 

Prior SAP configuration experience in ECC6 is highly desired.

.             5 full life cycle global SAP implementations (prior experience
defining/implementing worldwide solutions across multiple company codes in a
highly complex systems and project environment).

.             Evaluation of new releases and/or support packs within realm
of expertise and provide recommendations on whether these changes should be
applied to production to meet business requirements.

.             Prior experience in a complex SAP environment.

.             Experience with Borland Caliber (Requirements Management)
and/or Provision are a plus.

.             Leads architectural design reviews to ensure conformance of
proposed designs to architectural standards.
