Support day to day production inquiries and questions from other technology groups. Migrate databases across various database platforms People / Project Management Handle individual workload and deliver upon project milestones on time and on budget. Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment for resolution of issues. Coordinate project tasks and timelines for database development within the team. Qualifications 4+ years of relevant experience with concentration in Database Analysis, Design, and Development 3-5 years of experience in SQLServer or/and Sybase T-SQL development 1+ year of experience in batch scheduling tools and perl / unix shell scripting is preferred. Experience in data migrations and loads across platforms such as Oracle, Sybase, and SQLServer. Proven experience in translating data requirements to database design specifications Strong Sybase or SQLServer database performance tuning skills Financial Industry background is preferred.
