12 Months contract *Scope of Position:* Seeking Senior Database Engineer/Data Architect to design, develop, and maintain database applications for the Wealth Management group. Work with product managers, project managers, and other development team members on a daily basis to analyze requirements, design, and develop database applications. * **Main Responsibilities:* 1. Interact with business stakeholders and other technical teams to gather and analyze requirements 2. Design database solutions to satisfy application (business and technical) requirements 3. Provide Logical and Physical Data Modeling support 4. Reviews deliverables prepared by team 5. Monitors and reports on project activities and reports to management regarding project status, task, and issues/risks * **Required Skills:* *1. Strong experience in Data Modeling (min 5 years)* *2. Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL (min 8 years)* *3. Strong experience in Oracle database, extensive knowledge of latest Oracle features (min 8 years)* *4. Strong experience in database performance tuning (min 4 years)* *5. Strong Database Administration skills in an Oracle RAC environment* *6. Strong Experience in Unix Shell Scripting* 7. Proficiency in relational database design, data warehousing 8. Experience in database design tools such as Erwin, Oracle Designer, Visio 9. Experience in TOAD, Oracle Enterprise Management development tools 10. Experience in configuration management and code version control tools 11. Experience with Sun Solaris, Linux or HP-UX 12. Excellent oral & written communication skills 13. Excellent technical and problem solving skills 14.
