Hands-on experience with current versions of MS Visual Studio, and core Microsoft technologies for .NET development. Current experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Designer, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience in using Microsoft application development frameworks (MVC). Ability to communicate verbally and in written form in a clear concise and professional manner. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science. Development experience with SharePoint Designer 2010, Visual Studio 2010, Transact-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio in a cloud hosting environment. Experience in an agile team environment with a good understanding of the principles of agile software development and how to apply them to real-world situations. Ability to complete complex programming assignments using C# and .NET frameworks. Essential Functions: The Software Engineer will be responsible for development and support of web software applications using .NET technologies, as well as SharePoint technologies. Development includes analysis, design, prototyping, programming and unit testing of software or functions. Support includes troubleshooting, bug fixing, tuning, enhancing and maintaining software.
