Role : Systems Engineer/Linux Administator Location : Glendale, CA Duration : 6months Must have either Chef, Puppet, or CFEngine. If they don't they will not talk to the candidate *Description* · Primary responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining web application environments to host large scale enterprise production websites in support of a variety of online properties for our client. · The Senior Systems Engineer is expected to have expert level systems administration skills on both the Linux and Windows server platforms, and should have extensive experience with Apache, IIS, PHP, or Tomcat (or similar web applications). · This position will focus on systems and application stability, security, performance, and capacity management, as well as heavy doses of scripting/automation and documenting everything they touch. *Requirements* · Must have at least 7 Years of experience 70% Linux (at least 2 years of solid work) 30% Windows · Strong Java/Tomcat/JBOSS experience (at least 4years) LDAP AuthenticationF5 Loadbalancers · Apache/IIS PHP/Zend BASH/Perl/Python or Ruby DNS management Has some experience with CDN (Akamai, Limelight, Edgecast, etc) PCI/SOX compliance/audits Security/Hardening Monitoring and instrumentation · Chef/Puppet/CFengine AWS (or other cloud platforms) The successful candidate must have worked in a large enterprise architecture (2 or more datacenters, multi-tiered public facing) Must have participated in a full site development process (e.g. scope, architect, build, maintain) Has worked in DevOps environment, but works in a production capacity (must be able to handle on-call duty and interface with other developers) Understand critical site support (escalation paths, etc) Candidate must be able to do installation, tuning and troubleshooting of Apache Web Server, Tomcat, Operating Systems. · Familiar with SDLC and agile methodologies Must be familiar with Rest-Ful/SOAP/API/WSDL oriented communication between applications Must have BS degree, MS preferred in a CS or EE related field Thanks & Regards MOhan Ggmail: mohan@msrco Gtakl: mohankumaro25. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
