*"Teradata
Architect" *
• *Performance Tuning of Teradata SQLs*
• Create *Teradata DDLs* for tables based on the Oracle legacy tables,
Views.
• Perform Date Profiling and Analysis and Create equivalent Data types, PIs
and other data characteristics based on the data analysis provided
by the customer. Do further Data analysis as needed.
• Load data from Oracle to Teradata using Teradata utilities, if needed.
• Functional Testing of Teradata Views.
• Experience in *ER Studio or other similar ER modeling tools* to create
Data models / PDM.
• Convert *Oracle SQLs, views to Teradata SQLs *and proven trouble shooting
skills.
• Reverse Engineering of Oracle Data Warehouse Data Model, generate
Teradata Model.
•* Extensive knowledge in Teradata Architecture.*
• Work with other people or existing documents to understand the
relationships of the tables the Data Warehouse in Teradata.
• Should be very conversant with all *Teradata utilities/tools.*
• Reverse Engineer Oracle stored procedures and develop / tune stored
procedures in Teradata, if needed.
• Coordinate work with the junior TD developer offshore, as needed.
• Should work with* ETL lead to fill the Teradata portions or SQLs for
requirements.*
• Should have proven experience in effective communication with customer on
project requirements
• Good documentation skills
• Worked in Offshore-onshore model is a plus
