*Required Skillls *5+ years of Windows Engineering experience XP to Windows 7 migration experience Experience doing base image creation with Wintel (create the WIM) - and then working with the lines of business doing the testing, and take feedback to adapt it Powershell scripting Experience locking down and restricting the desktop and the browser *Nice to Haves *MDT VDI/VMware/ESXi/View/ThinApp *Role *These Windows Desktop Engineers will be put on an XP to Windows 7 migration project where their responsibilities will include: Provide advanced troubleshooting for issues that appear to be related to base client operating system or any of the applications that are included in the standard client image. Strong understanding and experience developing or updating VB (Visual Basic) script, Microsoft Windows PowerShell, or other dynamic scripting language used to deploy OS and software Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex issues that appear to be related to the client operating system and/or any of the applications that are included in the standard client image. Continual process improvement in Windows client environment. Responsible for the definition, development, maintenance, support and documentation of the Windows client image. Responsible for the definition, development, maintenance and documentation of the client deployment process.
