Job Title: Sr Active Directory Engineer Location: Minneapolis,MN Duration: 4 Months contract Write-up: Extensive Group Policy configuration experience required. Active Directory experience in a multi-domain multi-forest with 10,000+ end points Experience with Windows Server 2008 R2 administration Experience with developing Powershell scripts. Experience with desktop OSes (Windows XP and Windows 7) Summary: Candidate will engage as a team player within the Windows 7 Image work stream. Sr. Resource need to implement the recommended Group Policy technology. Involves the planning, design, and build out of the OU structure in Active Directory. Also the documentation of how to administer the group policies implemented. Responsibilities: Review of recommended Group Policy and Active Directory changes Creation of the Group Policy Engineering function Documenting Group Policies used and scope of usage Creation of a Test environment for determining Resultant Set of Policy work Interaction with the Desktop Engineering team within the Windows 7 project Implementation of the Group Policy Engineering function Interaction with the Windows 7 Image Management team Required: Active Directory experience in a multi-domain multi-forest with 10,000+ end points. Hands on Windows Server 2008 R2 administration working experience. Complete understanding of Active Directory. Extensive Group Policy configuration experience. Experience with developing Powershell scripts. Experience with ITIL and change management concepts – willing to use and work in a structured change management work environment.
