Hi, Our Client is looking for: * * *IBM Infosphere DataStage Senior Developer - Healthcare Insurance* * * *Princeton, NJ, United States* *6 months+* *$50/hr* * * *Requisition Details:* *Accountability*: 1. Work directly with external clients in establishment of standardized interface format capable of transferring all regulatory required data into a central data warehouse that could be used to satisfy all regulatory reporting needs (annual statements, data calls). 2. Under general direction, work closely with users, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements and the design of technical solutions. Ensure that specifications and requirements are complete and accurately reflect requirements. 3. Analyze and resolve testing and production issues by determining their validity, identifying causes, developing various courses of action to address business requirements, and implementing them. 4. Perform review and analysis of the detailed system specifications related to the Datstage ETL and related applications to ensure they appropriately address the business requirements. 5. Evaluate impact of proposed changes on existing Datastage ETL applications, processes and configurations. 6. Design and construct the Datastage ETL program/object specifications to meet system and architecture requirements. 7. Develop, prepare and use test data/cases to verify accuracy and completeness of ETL programs/objects as well as proactively ensuring that unintended issues do not arise as a result of the implementation of developed solutions. 8. Provide appropriate operational documentation. 9. Participate in component and data architecture design and performance monitoring 10. Ensures the stable operation of ETL processes in the production environment to agreed service levels. 11. Perform system analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation for the entire systems development cycle. Skills/Experience: 1. 3+ years IT development experience in building datastage ETL applications that utilize an RDBMS (such as Oracle, DB/2) in UNIX or Linux environments required. Must be able to demonstrate a proficiency in SQL. 2. 3+ years in developing and maintaining applications using an ETL tool (DataStage). 3. Experience in researching data issues, analyzing the problem causes and developing technical solutions 4. In-depth knowledge of ETL architecture. 5. Well developed interpersonal skills which can be used to aid in the gathering, assimilation and development of user specifications and test cases. 6. 2 years of Healthcare Insurance/Reinsurance experience strongly preferred. * * *2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects highly preferred.* * * *Please reply with following details:*
