*Title:* *Data Modeler Professional Consultant* posted on 2013-08-28 16:30:22 *Job Description:**Role: Teradata MLDM Data Modeler * *Location: Cincinnati, OH* *Duration: Long Term* *Job Description:* *================================================* Position 1:Teradata Logical Data Modeler · 4-5 years Logical-modeling experience for which at least 3 years was dedicated to the role and title of logical Data Modeler. · Extensive experience translating business and functional requirements into Conceptual and logical data Models. · Experience in 3rd normal form logical models and key elements that make up the logical · Experience in modeling DW components (Staging area, normalize, and reporting DB (Star Schema / data mart)). This includes responsibility for modeling a source system into the DW and participating in the generation of a physical model from the logical. · Excellent leadership skills (leading, influencing experience) and the technical coaching of others. · Experience with Agile data modeling development and/or management methodologies. · Demonstrated mastery of the ERwin Data Modeling tool. · Knowledge on dimensional and relational modeling techniques. · Exposure to data warehousing design and implementation methodologies or Application EAI design and implementation methodologies. Position 2:Teradata Physical Data Modeler · Experience in designing and implementing data models and databases for Teradata (using the mLDM) & MDM DBA environment. · At least 3 years’ experience with the full range of activities associated with application discovery, design, development, and deployment. · Demonstrated mastery of Teradata relational database technologies and implementation methodologies. · Working knowledge of data integration (EAI, EII, ETL) technologies. · Have experience in data gathering and analysis skills when interrogating the database to determine root cause performance issues.
