Location: Philadelphia, PA The Technology Division has an opportunity for a Senior Application Developer with strong C#.NET, enterprise integration (e.g. Web Methods, Service Oriented Architecture, etc) and database skills to join the team in Philadelphia. This hands-on, strategic position provides the opportunity to deliver software solutions and will enable the right candidate to contribute significantly to the success of the business. *Key Responsibilities:* · Develop and enhance software based on business requirements · Gather requirements from stakeholders, and write functional and technical specifications · Develop software based on conceptual and technical designs; define and conduct unit testing · Work closely with the project managers to guarantee timely delivery · Collaborate effectively within a global IT environment across multiple divisions · Act as a catalyst for the local team to build skills outside of the current technological footprint · Provide leadership to fellow team members by advising on new development tools and approaches *Experience & Skills Required:* · Minimum 7 years experience in information technology as an application developer, with at least 2 years in the Finance industry · Proven problem solving skills and the ability to independently debug and diagnose problems · Programming experience: . 7 years experience coding C#.Net in addition to Sybase 15 and/or SQL Server 2008 . Microsoft frameworks including WPF, WCF, Silver light, J Query, and ASP.Net <http://asp.net/> . Development of solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) . Knowledge of XML, Java, spring, Ruby on Rails, and AJAX would also be an advantage . Database experience: . Transact-SQL, stored procedures, triggers and analysis of query plans . Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) tools (e.g. Pervasive, SSIS, etc) .
