Require experience with Qualys VM and API. Experience with other Qualys modules such as Policy Compliance, Web App Scanning, and Malware Detection is a plus. Knowledge of other vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools, such as, Rapid7, Nessus, Metasploit, App Scan, Wireshark, and Nmap is helpful. Solid understanding of information security principles and practices. Having a CISS certification would be seen as a plus, or other sercurity certification. Broad knowledge of various operating systems and networking in a global environment. Assist with implementation of QualysGuard VM and API. Specific Qualys VM implementation tasks will include creating Tags, search lists, reports, authentication records, and developing API scripts. A thorough understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle in an enterprise is required. Work with platform teams, network, and application teams to verify compliance with scanning policies. Create documentation for security team to process vulnerability findings and ensure quality results. Sharepoint, excel, all Windows suites an advantage.
