Position: *Java Programmer* Location – Detroit, MI Contract – 6 months or longer GC and US *Engagement Description:* With general guidance and coaching, participates in design, development and implementation of specific new and emerging technologies, platforms and services. Assists in the assessment of technical viability of new products and technologies. Works with developers and infrastructure specialists to pilot and evaluate new technologies. Participates in development of business cases and obtaining approvals for capital expenditures. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. *Top Three Skills / Experience:* 1. Must be able to program in Java 2. Must be able to program in CVP 3. Must be able to program in VXML *Required Skills / Experience:* • At least 3 years’ experience with VXML and JAVA class programming • Experience with Grammar development • At least 3 years’ experience with Cisco Voice Portal, or Audium, or Eclipse interface • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organization skills, and be able to proficiently write and maintain written documentation to support code design • Proficient with MS Office, and Outlook • Work independently within a team framework • Follow and adhere to Enterprise Release Management process • Follow and adhere to Our Client’s change management process • Significant creativity is required *Educational Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in related field preferred 1. Java developer 2. Must know VXML 3.
