If you have a matching profile, please send me the updated resume along with contact details at the earliest.* * * *Oracle DBA* *6-12+ months minimum* *Richfield, MN * * * *The ideal candidates will possess:* • Proven ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical representatives • Act as a coach and mentor to Level 2 Database Support and Application Support team members, sharing knowledge associated with tools and practices utilized for SQL Performance Tuning • Experience working with outsourced delivery partners • The ability to work with and navigate resources and partners of all levels, skills, functional knowledge and abilities • Detailed organization skills Basic Requirements: • Expert Level Skills in Oracle RDBMS • 10 or more years of extensive experience working with Oracle RDBMS (current versions 10g and 11g), Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Oracle Clusterware, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid Control) • Expert Level Skills at SQL Performance Tuning • 10 or more years of extensive experience in SQL performance tuning • Skilled in Linux RedHat • 5 or more years of experience working in a Linux RedHat environment Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, business or related field Project Information: This individual will be working in a team of five in house DBAs. There are additional thirty five third party vendor DBAs. Bulk of work would involve working on a project “app” and then moving it over to third party vendor DBA. During the first month there will be “fine-tuning” for the holiday. After the holidays it will be mainly be a support role Most of the apps are running on Oracle, however, there is still a lot of apps on MS SQL Server. In all this would be a technical lead position. Some of the apps include SAP ECC, E-Business and number of other retail related applications.
