*Data QA Engineer* *Needham, MA* *6+ Month Contract * JOB REQUIREMENTS Experience with life cycle testing of financial or accounting systems. 5 - 7 years of experience in software quality and/or development engineering. 3 - 5 years of experience ensuring data integrity using data validation and verification techniques. Comprehensive data-driven quality testing across integrated technology stack, creating complex test plans, cases and scripts. Comfortable with multiple database concepts, understanding of relational databases and SQL and writing complex SQL statements. SQL schema design and performance knowledge; expertise in data analysis and excellent debugging skills. Sales accounting and finance domain knowledge. Ability to document testing strategies, plans, and cases, as well as implementation results. Work with minimal supervision. Attend project meetings & scrums, provide regular status reports for assigned tasks. Experience with commercial, custom, or open source testing tools. Strategic thinking skills, Strong oral and written communication. Flexible, able to shift direction with the demands of the business. Software quality certification. Audit control reporting for data accuracy. Data-driven business rule architecture experience. MS SQL Server and SSIS experience. Data modeling experience. Source code control and software release management experience. Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal). Demonstrated sound reasoning, effective decision making, and consensus building.
