Please find the below requirement with our client in Boston.



Lead .NET Developer
Location: Boston, MA (Must be onsite Manager will conduct face to face
interviews)
Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)

The selected person will be part of the Applications Support team that
supports all application systems. The Lead developer is responsible for the
oversight of all .Net Applications developers including delegation and
monitoring of assignments, and providing technical direction.

The Lead PC Applications Support Developer will support and maintain
existing and newly implemented .Net applications. This position is for a
senior level experienced developer who has experience with and is
comfortable correcting existing code and adding new enhancements. The
developer is expected to provide resolution to trouble tickets, satisfy
ad-hoc requests and perform bug analysis and bug resolution quickly. The
Lead PC Applications Support Developer will also be responsible for the
completion of small to midsize projects.

General Qualifications (Listed in order of importance):



·         5-10 years of experience developing applications using.NET
Frameworks

·         Strong problem research and analysis skills

·         Ability to work individually or within a team

·         Ability to delegate and monitor the work of less experienced .Net
developers

·         Troubleshoot issues, identify and implement resolutions and work
with technical and business staff to ensure timely deployment

·         Complete assigned tasks in an organized and efficient manner

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to multitask and work in an environment of rapidly
changing priorities


Technical Qualifications (Listed in order of importance):



·         Classic ASP, ASP.Net, VB.net

·         WCF & Entity Framework

·         .Net Framework 4.0 & Visual Studio 2010

·         IIS 6+

·         SQL Server (2005+, 2000) including Security Permissions, Database
Users and Roles and Assigning Permissions for Groups via Windows
Authentication.

·         Adobe Acrobat

·         SSIS/SSRS

·         Visual SourceSafe

·         Microsoft Excel

·         Microsoft Word


Experience with the following considered a plus:

Visual Basic for Applications (Microsoft Office)

Knowledge of Database Design Concepts

Microsoft Access
