Role: Oracle functional financial EBS consultant Location: Kalamazoo, MI Duration: 12+ Months Job Description The jobholder will be working in a team of business analyst in implementing the ERP based solutions for the business. He/ She will have to work with the project leadership to ensure the integrity of the solution, its alignment with the business requirements and successful deployment of the solution in a set time frame. The type of activities the jobholder will be working on is requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, solution build, rollout (Testing and post go live support) and enhancements. The consultants will be a subject matter expert in the finance modules of Oracle EBS. The position also demands good knowledge of several applications areas and the associated integration points. Below are the main activities of the consultants : * Participate actively in the implementation of the Oracle ERP projects * Work closely with the project manager and project leadership in planning and organizing the various project activities and deliverable. * Ensure timely issue identification, resolution, and appropriate escalation * Participate in status review meetings and provide timely feedback * Effectively liaison between the project team, business users and the IT support team * Provides solutions, processes, and application expertise/knowledge from requirements/design through to implementation. * Conduct the solution confirmation activities , fit/gap analysis, identify key gaps and ensure that the foot print and design meets the local requirements * Ensure design fits with current requirements and future business direction * Communicate the functional and processes requirements to the development team by developing and maintaining design/technical documents. * Conduct functional and integration testing cycles Experience * At least 10 + years of professional experience in Oracle EBS ( R11i & R12 ) implementation and support * Functional knowledge of ERP in the Finance area, other areas are a plus * Technical knowledge of ERP in Finance, a plus * Oracle knowledge on multi-national cross-country implementations is a plus Competencies Must * Oracle EBS experience ( R11i & R12 ) in a large distribution business * Good understanding of the main business functions in large-scale companies * Strong Analytical skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English * Proficiency in handling high volume of work with conflicting demands * Flexibility, availability and ability to travel * Positive attitude * Maintaining high quality standards * Responsibility, accountability, authority, credibility, and integrity * Intercultural awareness * Ability to work with remote teams -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
