The average rating from the candidate on these hold be minimum 7. • Good UI fundamental and when we ask about it in detail expecting practical applicability • Advanced html5 concepts. • Experience on multi device coding (Mobile , tablet , desktop etc) • Code writing - small mobile page to write in html5 and css3. A proficient UI developer should be able to get close the page completion in about 30 mins and should not rely on goggle search while writing the code. The Role: Front End Engineer As a Front End Software Engineer, you will specialize in building high performance, scalable, cross-browser compatible, accessible and elegant web applications like to help.Cliet with HTML5, CSS3, JS and other technologies. You will work hand in hand with world-class teams of other software engineers and architects as well as backend engineers to build amazing and emotional experiences that will delight our users. Responsibilities: * Build next generation applications for desktop and mobile browsers with an emphasis on emotional experiences and constant attention to scalability, performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility. * Partner with Product and Design to redesign and implement user interfaces. Minimum Requirements: * B.S. or M.S. in computer science. * 5+ years experience in web development and Front End engineering * Proficiency in Front End engineering skills including JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, HTML5 * Experience with Node.js * Solid knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and libraries like YUI (preferred) or jQuery * Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, XHR, DOM, CSS, JSON, cross-browser compatibility issues and cross-browser rendering differences, and browser progressive enhancement strategies. * Mastery of the CSS box model, and how various browsers implement the box model. * Strong working knowledge of optimization techniques (both in file weight and perceived/actual rendering speed) and performance measurement tools (both server-side and browser-side) * Hands-on experience using device-portability techniques, internationalization techniques, and accessibility techniques. * Well versed with unit testing & debugging techniques, particularly with front-end code (JS, CSS, XHR calls). * Expert in converting design delivered in Adobe Photoshop (PSD) to fully functional HTML.
