In the role of analyst, technical expert, advocate and trainer, this position will be the primary link between business planners, IT professionals and end users to fully and efficiently leverage the features and functionality of the Microsoft SharePoint platform. · Architect, design, configure, organize and monitor department’s SharePoint site collections and content on the client company’s shared Microsoft SharePoint 2013 platform; · Assist department teams and other client departments' SharePoint administrators with the development and maintenance of a flexible, workable information architecture; · Lead in developing and maintaining a governance framework for department's SharePoint site collections; · Migrate the data from SharePoint 2007 site to SharePoint Online. · Inform, support and assist site owners, site contributors and users in the proper use of SharePoint features and functionality; design and document training plans and curriculum; ensure accuracy and consistency of SharePoint user support · Manage security and permission groups, with attention to legal and regulatory requirements; · Create functional and detailed specifications for sites and site collections including wireframes, logical designs, security and permission hierarchies, standards, taxonomy and metadata schemas; · Design and implement templates for various types of SharePoint functionality, including project and team sites, libraries, shared workspaces and social features; · Design and implement web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, newsfeeds, term store and other SharePoint features; · Develop guidelines for managing lifecycle of various types of content within the SharePoint environment. *Education/Experience* · Required: Degree in Information Technology or related field or a combination of education and experience. · 2 years of experience with business information systems integration or custom business application design and development in a professional technology consulting, corporate MIS or software development environment. · 3 years of experience in Microsoft SharePoint architecture design and complex development space development and infrastructure. *Preferred: Certification in Microsoft applications development and infrastructure* *Skills/Abilities: * · Demonstrated current expertise in programming within the .NET Framework using C# along with SharePoint Server 2010 development, infrastructure, administration and configuration as well as Microsoft SQL Server. · Candidate understands, tracks, and can communicate how SharePoint fits and works within the Microsoft tool space. · Advanced development knowledge and experience with the SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2010 (Hands-on project experience with SharePoint 2013 is strongly desired, but is not an absolute requirement. Advanced experience in SharePoint 2010 is required.) · Experience designing a new SharePoint Site and migrating to SharePoint Online. · Solid oral and written communication skills with demonstrated use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, and MS Project.
