Please send the resumes at pe...@cncconsulting.com Job Title: Project Manager w/PMP Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration: 12 Months Interview: Phone and in person This resource will primarily be tasked as the Oversight Project Manager (PM) of the external project to replace two custom applications, Contract Funds Management and Local Fund Agreements. The contract for this project is due to be awarded in August. This is a high profile project with a hard deadline of June 30, 2014. This position will be responsible for providing oversight to the awarded contract vendor. This oversight includes, but is not limited to: providing direction and guidance to ensure an on time and on budget delivery. The project will be required to adhere to all BSSO standards and processes. The selected Oversight PM will report to the Contract Manager/Program Manager of the Business Systems Support Office (BSSO). The PM will have as part of their BSSO team, a Data Administration Expert, a DBATech, Architect, Information Security Manager and a Business Analyst if required. The Oversight PM will be the liaison between the awarded vendor, the BSSO and the Functional Business Office (OOC). The Oversight PM will work directly with the awarded contract vendor and their project manager and/or project team. The candidates considered for this position must be capable of independent work success, have good communication skills, and disciplined to examine and follow BSSO processes and procedures related to this development contract. The candidate must demonstrate evidence that they are confident and highly experienced in leading large development projects and must be able to hit the ground running in a minimal amount of time. Please do not submit candidates who do not fit these expectations. The CFM/LFA project is being held to a tight time frame of June 30, 2014. The oversight PM will need to provide the relationship and expertise to ensure the awarded vendor has a successful on time solution that meets the needs of FDOT as outlined in the contract. Project Management - Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance. Develops, modifies, or provides input to project plans; Implements project plans to meet objectives; Coordinates and integrates project activities; Manages, leads, or administers project resources; Monitors project activities and resources to mitigate risk; Implements or maintains quality assurance processes; Makes improvements, solves problems, or takes corrective action when problems arise; Gives presentations or briefings on all aspects of the project if required; Participates in phase, milestone, and final project reviews; Identifies project documentation requirements or procedures; and If appropriate, develops and implements product release plan.
