Position: SAP Payroll Configurator Duration 6 Months Location :Houston Visa : CTZ OR GC Payrate: Open TITLE Payroll Configurator REPORTS TO Regional Implementation Director ROLE OBJECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure configuration for SAP payroll at the best cost and according to ADP methodology Ensure definition of functional needs in order to configure ERP solution • Conduct the workshop for gathering requirements • Write the blueprints in order to gather client business requirements • Deliver proposals on client procedures in order to optimize proposed solution • Identify gaps and escalate to project manager Ensures regular relationship with local client interlocutor Ensure the customizing of SAP PY on main components of payroll according to ADP methodology • Customize the system in compliance with ADP methodology • Responsible for documentation of customizing • Identify required data for conversion • Report issues to Project Manager (timescale, configuration issues…) Escalate project issues to Project Manager (including scope variations, tasks slippages and risks) Ensure maintenance of the realized customization • Correct customization if discrepancy • Amend customization when legal changes occur • Enlarge scope to meet evolutions of client business requirements Participate in the evolution and optimization of the model and template • Ensure that customer needs, not effectively addressed within the current offering, are communicated to Product Manager • Make proposals for the evolution of the template in order to improve model Ensure end user relationship • Provide end user training • Write end user payroll manual COMPETENCIES CORE • Ability to priorities tasks and time management skills, ability to work across various projects • Teamwork, work collaboratively with others to achieve group goals, working together to accomplish business results • Consulting skills, understand business requirements and mapping to ensure consistency to ADP template, while minimizing risk to both client and ADP • Client focused, demonstrate concern for meeting and exceeding immediate and future needs of clients OTHER • Analytical thinking/problem solving skills – work systematically and logically to resolve problems, address opportunities or manage the situation at hand, identify causes, relationships and implications • Professional manner and presentation and ability to professionally set, manage and satisfy customer expectations through personal involvement or delegation. • Methodologies - demonstrate knowledge and application of key methodologies employed by Delivery teams and Project implementation methodology • Awareness and commitment to client service • Ability to deliver classroom training PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES • Initiative • Creativity • Motivated and tenacious • Results focused – work persistently to overcome obstacles to goal achievement • Quality commitment – demonstrate attention to produce a high quality end product and constantly look for opportunities to improve work processes and results QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • At least 4-6 years of experience as a consultant on SAP HR payroll. • Good understanding of Country, State and Enterprise legislation as it relates to the design and configuration of payroll • Ability to configure the entire SAP Payroll for one country including the following: o Writing of Schemas and Cycles (understanding of splits and factoring, country-specific SAP functionality) o GL Interface configuration o Payslip and Time Statement configuration o Data uploads o Unit testing, User acceptance testing and Parallel • Fluency in English (oral and written) • Appropriate tertiary level education or equivalent industry experience TRAVELS • Limited travel (North America mainly) Thank you for your time and I look forward to your reply. *Thanks & Regards,* ** *Kalyan Yantra Software Inc. * *Phone: 732-722-5309 / 732-722-5305* *Email: ckal...@yantrasoftware.com * *www.yantrasoftware.com* --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle / Data Warehousing Developers / ETL" group.
