Title: Web Application Developer/Tester Location Eagan, MN Duration: 6+ months Phone screen followed by In-person interview Local and beside state resources preferred Need two professional references from recent projects These are very specific testing spots so most testers WILL NOT be a fit. You will have to screen your candidates closely. I know there is alot of info but I am trying to help you find the right candidates. Manager's notes: I have a need for a Web Application Developer/Tester. This role is intended to help triage issues in an AJAX application (.NET). The person should have development experience in C#/.NET and JavaScript, along with strong debugging skills in web applications and JavaScript. These questions must be answered and sent back with your reply. I need these in order to consider your candidate. Technology Questions At what level have you worked on Web Application Development and/or Testing? Have you written any automated tests for web applications? What was your role while working on the most recent Web App project What testing tools have you used? Have you developed/tested web applications that rely heavily on javascript components (such as AJAX applications). How have YOU addressed the unique debugging and/or testing issues in AJAX or Javascript-heavy web applications? What have you developed in C# and JavaScript? Describe, in detail, tests you have implemented. Have any of the teams that you have worked with used Agile methodologies? Did you like Agile and if so what did you like about Agile? Describe something that you have learned in the last 6 months that is technical. Leadership Questions Have you lead a project? Have you ever had people reporting to you where you needed to provide them with a technical solution for a problem they needed resolved? What expectations do you have in the person to whom you report on a project (i.e. your team-lead)?
