*Role: Jr.Financial Analyst-* *Rate: $25 hr C2C* *Date resource is required: 05/15/2010* *Anticipated end date: 12/31/2010* *Location: Charlotte, NC * Line of Business: TIG - Enterprise Hosting Job Classification: Business Systems Consultant Position Description: Experience Level: 4 yr degree plus 3-5 Financial Analyst responsible for providing routine financial analysis for an assigned business unit or corporate staff. Duties may include: researching, collecting and conducting preliminary analysis of internal financial/operating data; entering/importing data into financial systems/models, testing for accuracy and monitoring for trends; modifying, as directed, and running existing financial models; updating and maintaining moderately complex financial reporting systems; creating and distributing ad hoc financial reports; performing variance and trend analyses and forecasts. Understands compliance requirements for supported area. Essential Skills: . Manages multiple technology projects Mainframe and Open System Storage project experience a plus . Engages with work stream project managers and program managers on the development of initial project cost estimates and development of project budget . Supports the program manager as required through the pipeline management process to successfully achieve a projects approval . Leads the engagement with multiple work stream project managers over multiple projects to develop and update forecasts monthly, prepares forecast variance and reviews with the project managers prior to forecast updates . Consults with project managers on the application of financial principles and forecast methodology to the individual project forecasts . Prepares project monthly financial forecasts and variance analysis and presents project financial actuals and forecasts to program and financial managers . Develops and submits an operations based project forecast to operations financial analysts and reviews the forecast and variances with financial operations manager . Maintains financials databases/models/systems or design models/systems needed for analysis, measurement and assessment of financial data . Engages in the recommendation of and implementation of processes and procedures that improve upon current practice . Manages special projects as assigned . Identifies and elevates issues appropriately to. Oracle Financials and ad-hoc reporting tools experience preferred . Strong interpersonal skills a must have .
