The candidate should be: * Skilled in business and technical level data analysis surrounding Risk, Finance and Compliance back office business areas * Subject areas of expertise include - Financial reporting, compliance reporting, Economic Capital and Financial Risk/Compliance Reporting, Master/Reference data management and BASEL II compliance * Analysis skill-set includes business and technical analysis of data * Defining data architecture of the solution for Risk, Finance, Compliance reporting * Business level analysis of data includes experience analyzing across - Granularityď€ * * Understanding of Financial products coverage * * Consumer vs commercial vs wholesale, delinquency managed vs classifiably managed * Cash Trades, Derivatives, Loans, Deposits are a sample few in this space Subject Areas coverage: * Accounts, Pools portfolios, positions, transactions, collateral, obligor, facilities are a sample few in this space * Definitions * Business reporting coverage * * Types of reports generated for risk. Finance and compliance systems * Technical level analysis of data includes experience analyzing across - * Entity/Attributes Comparison & Data Mapping * Analysis of processing and rules differences * SLAs for data acquisition, processing, storage, distribution and reporting * Data Quality Processing and Rules * Data structures and data types * Database technology differences * Source feed format differences * Data mart and reporting set-up differences * High level data modeling experience preferred Knowledge/Skills Required: * Strong background in Database design and lifecycle management * Strong background in logical/physical data model. * Familiarity with data modeling techniques and best practices * Familiarity with Performance optimization techniques * Ability to tune SQL queries and database performance for OLTP and DSS applications within frames of Software development process (Sybase IQ, Oracle , DB2 ) * Contribute substantially to the design and development of the data access DB layer * Strong understanding of Information Access methods and patters.
