Title : Web Sphere Developer/Analyst.
Location : Austin TX.
Duration : 4-6 Months Contract
Years Skills/Experience
5 Working and developing applications on the J2EE application development
platform for enterprise class projects.
3 Experience implementing solutions with the following technologies:
Java, J2EE, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), XML (extensible Markup Language),
Web Services, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, IBM MQ Series and Oracle.
3 Strong understanding and knowledge of the WebSphere/J2EE architecture,
UML (Unified Modeling Language), Patterns/Frameworks, JDBC/ODBC (Oracle
Database Connectivity), OOD (Object-Oriented Design / Development)
skills, and J2EE integration points with external or third party
products.
2 Experience with WebSphere Servers, RAD/RSA 6+ (Rational Application
Development suite, Version 6) or similar tools.
2 Web Services development experience (e.g. XML, SOAP (Simple Object
Access Protocol), WSDL (Web Services Description Language), XSD, and UDDI
(Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration).
2 Experience developing content management solutions, preferably using a
content management tool such as IBM Content Manager, FileNet or
Documentum.
Degree Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with
major course work in computer science, computer information systems,
engineering, or management information systems is required. The candidate
has to provide the year of graduation in the resume.
Preferences:
Years Skill/Experience
2 Experience implementing solutions with any the following technologies:
JSP, JSF/Struts), Adobe Flex or other mvc frameworks, iText
2 Experience with an imaging tool such as Kofax or Captiva.
2 Experience in developing data access web services.
2 Experience developing web services using a tool such as IBM WebSphere
Process Server.
2 Experience with code quality control methodologies. i.e. testing
process, monitoring methodologies;
2 Experience with Unix operating system basic commands and scripting.
1 Domain knowledge in Health and Human Services.
Strong Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong Familiarity or knowledge of Rational tools such as Clear Case,
Clear Quest, and RequisitePro.
