Requires knowledge and development experience of existing and emerging multimedia technologies, including the ability to code and prototype systems and provide ongoing operational technical support for existing systems in a demanding fast paced environment. Position responsibilities: Will work with management, developers and operations staff on projects related to Digital Media Technologies including identifying and implementing products and services for Web, Mobile and Cell delivery. Must be a creative thinker and self starter, able to identify solutions and quickly prototype proof of concept. Will be expected to quickly understand and embrace new technologies. Required both high and low level responsibilities including coding for prototype and production systems. Requires hands-on support for production systems and upgrades, which often occur outside normal business hours. Requirements (please limit to 1000 characters): Must be an expert in the development of C, C++ projects, experienced in C#, Java, Visual Basic, ASP, PHP HTML also desired Must have experience developing and debugging in MS Windows, Linux, Solaris, environments and experience with Unix shell script. Must have experience in developing and supporting live production and mission critical applications. Must have an in-depth understanding of TCP/IP, UDP and including multicast. Some SNMP protocol, Cisco experience considered a plus. Experience with Adobe and Flash/Server technologies. Experience in MS SQL development and architecture including stored procedures. Oracle (PL/SQL) and MySQL development a plus. Must have multimedia development and administrative experience in the following Windows Media Streaming, Helix Server, Darwin Server 3GP Technologies, RTSP, RTP, RTMP, ASF, SWF Must have development and administrative experience with IIS and Apache. Should be familiar with functionality of leading internet browsers, MS IE, Firefox and Safari. Must be familiar with MPEG 4, H.264, AAC.+ MPEG 2 Transport.
