Thanks for reviewing my requirement, below you can find the requirement
which is open as of now, let me know if you have any suitable match for it.
Client is accepting resumes which fulfill either one of the below mentioned
criteria:
i): Either the consultant should have Eagle Star or PACE experience.
OR
ii): The consultant should be local to SFO having experience in setting up
(or supporting) an "investment application" or "trading application".
*Oracle DBA -** Senior (Exp around 10 Years)*
Location: SFO, CA
Rate: $70/hr C2C
Duration: 3+ months
Oracle DBA contractor
Help maintain development, test, and production environments, upgrade files,
and perform normal database administration functions. Additionally, the
candidate must be able to build database tools and scripts to automate where
warranted.
Some of the skills we are looking for are:
-Certified (Preferably) DBA on Oracle in a wide variety of environments
-Experience with large data transfers and data replication services
-Experience with Oracle 11g and how to migrate/update to that version
-Experience in setting up database administration functions
-Experience with secure and encrypted data
A subset of kind of tasks for DBA contractor:
Description of Services: Consultant will perform the following services:
a. Learn and hence work on EAGLE STAR data structures and operations
b. Client platform upgrade project to oracle 11G
1. Setup prototype environment with Oracle 11G and STAR 10.1.1
c. Eagle Health Check- review production database findings
d. Fix and maintain Penson replication process using MS SQL database &
update Oracle
e. Perform clone and other database maintenance activities
1. Automate scripts
f. Support the database requirements of the In-Sourcing/other projects
1. Scalability questions/research
2. Database replication services
3. Dump file
