Job Title: PERFORMANCE ANALYST Duration: 9-12 months + Location: Bloomington, IL Primary Skills: Performance SOA Security Testing - 3-5 yrs Interview Type: Telephone Interview Rate: $40 - $45/hr on CTC *Job Description:* Client is seeking a Performance Analyst to join our team of professionals focused on the support and performance of our client's Unified Communciations solution. A performance analyst will ensure that the capacity and performance of the enterprise solution meets business partner needs by analyzing and reporting on trending data to identify threshold violations, degradation, prolonged spikes, or other key performance metrics. Performance Analysts also analyzes networked applications at the protocol level to assess their performance and how they impact the infrastructure. The overall objective is to ensure the network infrastructure in use is properly sized and tuned to provide our business partners with needed capacity and acceptable performance, as agreed upon within the business partners Service Level Agreements (SLA). *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Perform a performance analysis and tuning role for a Unified Communications system and adjunct solutions Utilize skills to identify optimization opportunities, isolate the cause of the problem and work with the responsible teams to implement the resolution Utilize a variety of industry standard tooling and reporting mechanisms to identify software and infrastructure requiring tuning Help design and develop capacity and performance recommendations Leverage deep understanding of performance and capacity management of various server platforms to provide valuable insight in development of forward looking end-to-end service capacity plan Extract and interpret granular performance data from appropriate tooling, and provide analysis Produce and maintain performance reports *Job Requirement:* *QUALIFICATIONS:* 5 years experience in IT related field Highly motivated with solid organization and communication skills2-5 years experience in performance and capacity management in distributed environments 2 or more years of experience in triaging performance and availability problems in a large enterprise 2 or more years of experience working on cross disciplinary teams to find the root cause of system problems. 1-3 years network and/or UC management Systems Performance monitor/maintenance Minimum Years Required 3 Qualification Triage Performance & Availability problems for enterprise solutions Minimum Years Required 3 Qualification Network and/or UC management Minimum Years Required 2 *Thanks & Best Regards* *V**INNI **| Oberon IT*** 1300 W.
