" Reviews and prioritizes assigned customer reported issues to ensure that issues are being effectively addressed " Responsible for delivering & maintaining 24x7x365 up-time of all production systems along with development/QA environments and related services. " Maximize the Utility or Benefit Customers get from Company Products by: o Developing and maintaining scripts for monitoring and reporting various aspects of system performance, resource utilization, and application usage o Developing and maintaining scripts and systems for automating software deployments, updates and process documentation o Work with development team to deploy code for Staging and Production environments o Developing and maintaining scripts and systems for automating software deployments, updates and process documentation o Establish and maintain security protocols and execute preventive measures to ensure platform integrity o Products will include Customer accessible website, back-end processing functions, MySQL event and configuration database, clip storage flat file storage, o Manage Multiple versions of slightly differentiated products o Work with hosting service providers to ensure adequate performance of system for end users o Write requirements for maintenance and support tools required from Product Development o Identify and help isolate and reproduce defects in Hosted Products, work with Development to fix and test Basic Requirements (e.g. communications skills, technical skills, physical requirements, travel): " Strong Linux and Web Site Administration Skills in a LAMP environment " Experience running high volume web services, including requirements and capacity analysis, service configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting " Strong MySQL administration skills " Organized Methodical work habits for final testing and deployment tasks " Strong configuration management skills " Limited Business Travel but potential for some night and weekend work * * *Work Experience Requirements* Minimum:** " 5+ years experience with UNIX/Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu or similar OS) " 3 - 5 years experience managing public facing, front end web servers/web sites, including configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting " 3 - 5 years Apache setup, configuration and administration experience " 3+ years MySQL database setup, configuration and administration experience " 3+ years experience shell scripting and/or other programming (Perl, Python) to accomplish various tasks.
